Acceptance

By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, do not use our services or submit an application.

Services

MatnWave provides scheduled Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and surf programming, accommodation where included in your package, and logistics described on matnwave.com and in your confirmation. Cohort capacity is up to twelve (12) practitioners unless a specific week states otherwise. Exact inclusions and locations are confirmed before you travel.

Booking and payment

• Prices are in euros (EUR) unless otherwise stated on your invoice.
• A deposit is required to secure your booking.
• Full payment must be received before the start of your cohort week unless your confirmation sets a different schedule.
• We accept major credit cards and bank transfers.
• Published prices may change for future dates; your confirmation locks the price for your booked week.

Cancellation and refunds

Unless your written confirmation states different terms:

• 30+ days before the start date: full refund minus the deposit.
• 15–29 days before the start date: fifty percent (50%) refund minus the deposit.
• Fewer than 15 days before the start date: no refund.
• Deposits are non-refundable.

If MatnWave must cancel a week (force majeure, unsafe conditions, minimum numbers not met, or similar), we offer rescheduling or refund of amounts paid for that week, excluding costs we cannot recover from third parties, unless applicable law requires a different remedy.

Health, disclosure, and safety

You must:

• Maintain a condition appropriate for surf and grappling load.
• Carry suitable travel and sports insurance.
• Disclose injuries, medical conditions, and allergies when we ask.
• Follow coach and safety instructions on the mats, in the water, and during transit.
• Complete any liability waiver we require before participation.

We may decline or adapt participation when safety requires it. You are responsible for medical clearance if your situation requires it.

Conduct

You agree to treat staff, coaches, and other guests respectfully and to comply with Moroccan law. Harassment, violence, or reckless behaviour may result in removal from activities without refund.

Intellectual property

Text, graphics, logos, images, and videos on matnwave.com are owned by MatnWave or its licensors. You may not reuse them for commercial purposes without written permission.

Assumption of risk and limitation of liability

Surfing and combat sports involve inherent risk of injury or death. You voluntarily assume those risks. MatnWave is not liable for personal injury or death during activities, loss or damage to personal property, travel delays, weather-affected sessions, or third-party services—except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Media

We may capture photo or video during cohort weeks for marketing and archives. If you do not wish to appear in new promotional material, tell us in writing before or during the week; we will use reasonable efforts to honour that for new captures.

Changes to the programme

We may adjust daily schedules, surf spots, or coaching assignments when ocean conditions, safety, or operations require it. We do not guarantee specific breaks, wave sizes, or curriculum blocks beyond good-faith delivery of the published rhythm.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Morocco have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protections in your country give you a non-waivable right to sue elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service. Material changes will be posted on this page; where appropriate we will also notify you by email.
