Operational Standards
Cleanliness & Guidelines
A smooth training week runs on clean spaces, clear policies, and thoughtful preparation. We cap our cohorts at twelve (12) practitioners so the coaching remains personal and the house rhythm stays comfortable.
01. Recovery Space & Cold Plunge Care
To keep our shared recovery spaces fresh and clean, we maintain our cold plunges with continuous filtration and active water circulation:
- Active Filtration: A 24/7 sediment filtration loop keeps the water clean and clear.
- Sanitization: A combined Ozone and UV sterilizing system keeps the water sanitized without the harsh chemical smells of heavy chlorine.
- Fresh Starts: We balance and check water metrics daily, and perform a complete water change and tank wash between cohort weeks.
02. Food Sourcing & Kitchen Care
Healthy meals are essential for recovery. Our kitchen focuses on quality, fresh ingredients:
- Fresh & Local: All meats, fish, and produce are sourced weekly from trusted local organic farms and fisheries around Agadir.
- Balanced Nutrition: Menus are designed in collaboration with a sports nutritionist to ensure you stay energized for both mat and water sessions.
- Allergen Care: Disclosed dietary preferences and food allergies (gluten-free, nut-free, vegetarian, etc.) are prepared with dedicated care to avoid cross-contact.
03. Mat Hygiene & Mat Care
Jiu-jitsu requires clean mats and clean gear. We make this simple for everyone:
- Daily Laundry Service: We wash and dry your Gis, rash guards, and training gear immediately after each session so you always start fresh.
- Twice-Daily Cleaning: Training mats are vacuumed and washed twice a day using skin-safe, anti-bacterial disinfectants.
- Common-Sense Skin Checks: Our coaches conduct quick visual checks before sessions. We ask everyone to check in with the team if you notice any skin irritation before training.
04. Ocean Guiding & Surf Safety
Morocco has beautiful coastlines, and we respect the daily tides:
- Forecast-led Choices: We check swell sizes, currents, and winds hourly. We only paddle out at breaks that match the group's comfort level.
- ISA-Certified Guiding: All surf sessions are guided by experienced instructors certified by the International Surfing Association (ISA) with ocean lifeguard training.
- Safety Kits: Coaches carry first-aid gear and ocean safety communication equipment on all beach outings.
05. Local Support & Medical Proximity
We handle logistics and safety coordinates directly so you can focus on training:
- On-Site Host: Our cohort host (Ismaël) lives at the residency and is always available to coordinate travel, medical consultations, or local needs.
- Quick Medical Access: Our waterfront base in Anza is located just a 5-minute drive from the nearest private clinic and 15 minutes from Agadir's main hospital.
- Travel Insurance: We highly recommend carrying travel insurance so you are covered for peace of mind while away.
06. Cancellations, Refunds, & Booking Terms
Because we limit each cohort to 12 participants and decline other applications to secure your spot, our cancellation terms are straightforward:
- 30+ Days Before Arrival: Full refund of your balance payment, minus the non-refundable booking deposit.
- 15–29 Days Before Arrival: Fifty percent (50%) refund of your balance payment, minus the non-refundable booking deposit.
- Fewer than 15 Days Before Arrival: We are unable to offer refunds.
- Booking Deposits: Non-refundable as they secure your spot in a capped, low-capacity group.
